Cebu City

Right smack in the middle of Visayas, this metropolis is a bustling city of trade and tourism. Don't know how many times I've been here but every visit is unique.

How to get here
*plane from Manila via Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific.
At the Airport (Mactan International Airport) you will see vans and taxis outside. Be very careful when you deal with them, some are what we call enterprising drivers. Just be careful.

Getting Around
Like most cities in the Philippines, Cebu has the worst traffic (like Manila), getting around using public transportation would be a challenge unless you're a local and can speak their dialect. I would recomend you rent a car/van to tour around the city. Avoid using taxi if you plan to go on multiple destinations.

Where to stay
I would recommend the area around Fuente Osmena. There's wide range of hotels you can find there from very cheap to somewhat mid range. There are alot of Hotels around the area (Crown Regency), Spas and other stores are practically stone throw away. I've stayed in Grand Prix Hotel and Apple Trees Suites. Let's just say again I would choose to stay at Apple Trees when I visit  Cebu again.

What to do in Cebu
Eat. See old buildings. Scare yourself.
Eat- Cebu is known for its roasted pig fondly known as lechon. Try CNT along V Rama ave., Cebu is also known for its Otap, Danggit, And it's ihawan at Fuente Osmena called Larsian.
