From the airport take a van to the city, it would cost you 100 pesos. They are usually parked outside of the airport and would drop you off the hotel you want to stay. Before riding make it sure you are paying as a regular passenger not on a special trip.

Where to Stay
There are alot of two star hotel in Bacolod City and are very cheap. One is Grand Regal Hotel in front of Gaisano and the other one is Sugar Land Hotel, both in Araneta Street.

What to do in Bacolod
Aside from malling (they have Robinson's Place, SM, & Gaisano), Eat! Yes eat. First you should try the Arroz caldo just across Golden Fields. Then there's this pastry shop right across 'Lil Fisher Hoter along Lacson Ave. Also try their Cansi! It's so good and full of cholesterol it would make your blood pressure go up. hahaha! Of course Bacolod is well known for it's Inasal, Chicken House is all over Bacolod so finding one is not hard to find. But then again it's a town outside of Metro Manila so expect them to be open at lunch. For breakfast you may want to settle for a fast food though.

What to see in Bacolod?
The Golden Carabao I guess, just right in front of the Provincial Capitol Building.

Well there's this place they call The Ruins, it's actually located next town near the airport.

If you have the time and money you can rent a car and drive to Sipalay. It's a beach town more like Malapascua Island where most of the tourist are europeans looking for a good dive site. And you'll be surprise how much it the room would cost you.

You can also go up the mountain and spend the day at Mambukal. There you can either go trekking, tree trekking, swim in cold and hot pool, they have butterfly garden etc etc etc..

That's all folks!
