Two hours away from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and 10 hours travel by bus from Manila this is an old spanish town right in the middle of Ilocandia.

* Empanada - bun with egg and vegetables filling practically everywhere and most prominent infront of Burgos Plaza
* Sinanglao - Beef stew Ilocano style

* Bagnet - sundried pork then deep fried
* pinakbet - mixed vegetables with fermented fish sauce
* cafe leona's cheese sticks

We stayed for three days and we finished touring the place in just one day but we can't leave the place because we just love being there. Very nice and idyllic town.
